Magic Mike Likey’s Open/Closed Prediction

Called “A Magical Masterpiece”, the performer displays a jumbo playing-card with its back towards the audience, and a paper-clip, which both remain in full view throughout the effect.A spectator then, after thoroughly examining a regular pack of cards, randomly calls “stop” as the performer openly deals the cards, one-at-a-time, and faces down, onto the spectator’s hand, or onto a table. The performer then clips this selected card, whose identity is not yet known, to the face of the jumbo card, whose identity is also still unknown. Summarizing that there was a completely free choice from a normal pack of cards, the performer then turns the jumbo card around to reveal that the selected card matches the jumbo card!This effect my also be performed with the audience knowing the identity of the jumbo prediction card, and the randomly-selected card (unknown at this point) clipped to the back of the jumbo card.
