Perched on hot terracotta rooftops, Fallen Angels watch over the ancient streets of Florence. Cast out of heaven for playful misbehaviour, these apostles are able to inflict punishment our culture so wrongly forgets. Unlike Heaven’s angels, restricted by divine law, these fallen messengers are bound by none. As they demand an eye for an eye, remember, forgiveness is not the virtue of nature.
