Incident at Bushong Farm – the 2006 and 2007 Confederate Pictures Reenactments

Mins :
This video footage was made to document the activities of the 5th Va. and the 6th NC. Confederate reenacting groups at the 2006 and 2007 New Market reenactments. In exchange for this documentation of their involvement, Confederate Pictures was allowed to obtain rare fight footage for their other projects and motion pictures, including the upcoming CONFEDERATE PICTURES YEARS series video entitled The Battle of Bushong Farm (2010). While that footage will be edited and cherry-picked, this is the entire set of footages shot both years; with very little editing, and designed to give you the feeling that you are there, in the ranks, as a war correspondent, covering the battle with these soldiers! This is what it is like to be on the field during a Civil War reenactment. This video is not a complete coverage of the event, but rather the following of these Confederate groups involved as they fight and strain to take the field… and eventually run with the VMI Cadets under their white Virginia state banner as the boys take the field in the final charge! It is the entire shoot, warts and all! Designed for the reenactors who live for this stuff!!!
