John Yates is a middle aged man in the midst of a pending divorce. One night, he witnesses the murder of his estranged wife during a botched gas station robbery. Now, determined to find the man responsible, John is left picking up the pieces of his life, not knowing if he should be the father to a dwindling relationship with his only daughter, or the avenger he feels compelled to become.
