This program presents an overview of job opportunities in water management such as designing and repairing levees, designing and operating dams, reservoirs and sewer systems, restoring and managing rivers and fish populations, protecting endangered species, maintaining natural resources, water conservation, irrigation, landscape design, and more. As water becomes scarce the challenge will be to boost water productivity while still protecting the natural environment. Business and government spend billions of dollars a year on water management and will need to employ thousands of newly trained workers. You can’t have a green world without water.
