A group of five friends go on a road trip from New York to Boston using their state of the art GPS system. Jewel, played by Natalie Distler of the hit show Rescue Me, is afraid of traveling. Just one year prior Jewel’s parents were killed in a tragic car accident. Cody, Jewels’ boyfriend, assures her nothing could go wrong with a GPS unit and that they will overcome her fear of travel. Jewel’s friends are there to support her, and unbeknownst to Jewel, Cody is going to propose to her once they get to Boston.Along the way their GPS system reroutes, and the group soon find themselves in a dark government conspiracy. About the Production:Taking inspiration from Alfred Hitchcock’s lifeboat, this micro-budget movie was shot during five intense days over Christmas where the actors at one time shot straight through 24 hours. The film stars Evel Dick Donato of the Reality Show Big Brother, and Natalie Distler from the hit show Rescue Me. This is Evan Pedone’s directorial debut. This film plays on the current fears of the American public where there is government distrust.This Feature Film is also a must see for any independent film maker who would like to see what can be accomplished on a Micro-Budget.
