Edsel Ford build the rural Haven Hill Estate as an escape from everyday life. The nearly 4-square mile estate, popular with family friends such as Thomas Edison, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Admiral Byrd, & Charles Lindberg had everything, including a 7200 square foot home, swimming pool, tennis court, toboggan run, ski hills, and more. Largely abandoned upon his death, it’s now being rediscovered.
