Step back in time to the golden age of classic crime. He’s from the slum part of town. He starts by stealing the small, petty things in life. He tries hard to fit in with the gangs. He ends up in reform school and from there all the way to prison. Eventually he’s released, but soon discovers that life in the big wide world can be even harder than on the inside.
