A Triumph Of Faith

This historical documentary chronicles the annual pilgrimage of Christians through Northern Russia. For over 600 years, Christians have traveled the five-day, 120-mile roundtrip to a site where an icon of St. Nicholas is said to have worked miracles. Along the way they stop for services amongst the ruins of old churches long ago destroyed by the former Communist government.
