Emraan Hashmi: Latest guise as Ram Manohar Lohia in Ae Watan Mere Watan

Emraan Hashmi makes a cameo appearance in the movie Ae Watan Mere Watan

The actor Emraan Hashmi will play the freedom warrior Ram Manohar Lohia in the upcoming historical thriller drama “Ae Watan Mere Watan,” which will star Sara Ali Khan in the lead role. This avatar has never been seen before.

The official poster for Emraan Hashmi who makes a cameo appearance in the movie, was released by the producers on Monday.

The film honours Usha Mehta, a 22-year-old independence fighter who utilised an underground radio to disseminate news during the 1942 Quit India Movement that exposed the British Raj. Sara plays Usha Mehta.

Ram Manohar, a little-known hero from India’s liberation struggle who established and oversaw the underground radio station that was essential to the Quit India Movement, is portrayed by Emraan Hashmi. He edited “Congress Socialist” and was one of the founding members of the Congress Socialist Party.

Throughout his voyage, he was often imprisoned, tortured, and jailed. He committed his life to the nation’s struggle against the British Raj. It was Lohia who proposed the concept of sapta kranti.

Emraan Hashmi looked amazing in the poster as Lohia. He is dressed in a white Nehru topi and a blue Nehru jacket. He’s holding his fist closed and elevating his hand while wearing black spectacles.
