Gannu is normal Indian man. He is lives in a small town. Gannu works for a prominent man in state politics named Dauji. Gannu runs errands and small criminal duties like extortion and capturing elections booth for Dauji. Gannu is favourite worker of Dauji.
Gannu is married man. He is married with a young and beautiful young woman Nirmala. Gannu has immense love for alcohol and can’t survive a single day without getting drunk. This habit bothers his wife very much. She wants him to quit drinking habits.
Soon, Gannu and Nirmala finds out that Nirmala is pregnant. This brings immense happiness to the couple. But the drinking habits of Gannu starts to getting worse day by day. Now, Nirmala start to think about aborting the unborn child. She don’t want her child to be born under the shadow of a alcoholic father. She warns Gannu about her intentions.
Gannu gets alerted after this. He not only willingly wants to quit this bad habit of consuming alcohol but also wants to ban alchohol from the whole town. He starts a protest against the alchohol and his catches momentum when all the women of the town joins his protest. Gannu becomes happy as he can save his unborn child. But things takes opposite turn when he opposes by Dauji for his protest.
