Five brave Texas Rangers, one of them a wounded victim of an ambush who is saved by Tonto, band together to fight uniformed mercenaries led by a crooked Confederate captain impersonating Colonel Jeffries, who plans to take over the “Republic of Texas” with a campaign of murder and deception.
