“Introduction to Speed Reading and Rapid Analytical Reading”

In this DVD, speed reading pioneer Arvin Vohra first introduces basic speed reading techniques and drills, including historically significant techniques (tachistoscopes, Evelyn Woods, etc.). He then introduces Rapid Analytical Reading, the speed-reading technique he developed. Unlike traditional speed reading, which works only on simple texts like newspapers and easy fiction, Rapid Analytical Reading works on complex tests, including textbooks, complex fiction, and standardized tests passages. Arvin Vohra used these techniques himself to finish the GMAT 1 hour and 20 minutes early, and the GRE 1 hour and 45 minutes early–and earn perfect scores on both. This video teaches the exercises you need to learn both traditional speed reading and Rapid Analytical Reading. While no DVD can make you able to speed read in 90 minutes, this DVD tells you what you need to do over the next several months in order to learn speed reading and Rapid Analytical Reading.
