This June 25, 1985 special edition of the MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour features highlights of a five-hour interview conducted with President of Cuba Fidel Castro conducted by Robert MacNeil. It was Castro’s first interview on U.S. television in six years, and covers a range of topics, including some that Castro never before discussed in public.
