Chiyaan Vikram said- ‘This is very disgusting’

Veteran South actor Chiyaan Vikram is also saddened by such acts happening with women. The actor has spoken openly about women’s safety in a recent interview.
The country was yet to recover from the rape and murder of a trainee female doctor in a Kolkata hospital when the recently released Hema Committee Report has created a stir. The Hema Committee Report has revealed the names of many veteran actors and producer-directors of the Malayalam film industry, who have been accused of sexually harassing actresses.
Recently, veteran South actor Chiyaan Vikram also expressed his concern about women’s safety And said that every woman needs to feel safe, even if she is on the street at 3 in the night.
In an interview to PTI, Chiyaan Vikram said, “All women need to feel safe. They should be able to walk on the streets at 3 am and feel that they can walk, go home and no one is going to do anything to them. Every man is there to protect them and give them space. What is happening is disgusting.”
