Blue Star is set in the decade of 1990s and based in a railway town Arokkonam in Tamilnadu. The movie follows the story of Ranjith and Rajesh. Both of them are passionate about the sports of cricket. As the best sportsman, they both are capable of being captain of the cricket team.
The chase to the position of Captain ignites the rivalry between the two cricket players. As they belongs to different caste, a huge controversy leads them to a complicated situation. Will they ever get a chance to play cricket?

Actors Ashok Selvan, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj and Keerthi Pandian are playing lead roles in the movie alongwith Bagavathi Perumal, Elango Kumaravel, Lizzie Antony and Prithvi Rajan in supporting roles. Saju Navodaya in an extended cameo role.
