Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha stars Ajay Devgn and Tabu in lead roles. The film was once scheduled to clash with the Lakshya-Raghav Juyal starrer Kill.
Recently, the producers were asked by distributors and exhibitors to postpone the initial release date of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu. The production house and singers revealed the decision a few days ago to prevent a confrontation with Kill, which is supported by Karan Johar and Guneet Monga. However, the wait is over, as Ajay Devgn and filmmaker Neeraj Pandey have announced the new release date on their respective social media accounts.
Ajay Devgn captioned his post: “The wait ends on August 2nd! (heart emoji).” Neeraj uploaded the poster of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha with the caption, “Dear friends, Our new release date is… The photo was captioned “In cinemas August 2, 2024.”
The film is the actors’ and directors’ first collaboration. Ajay Devgn and Tabu collaborated on several films in the 1990s, including Drishyam, Golmaal Again, De De Pyaar De, Drishyam 2, and Bholaa. The trailer for Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha depicts crime and bloodshed in an extraordinary romance spanning 22 years. Shantanu Maheshwari and Sai Manjarekar portray Ajay Devgn and Tabu‘s younger incarnations, respectively.
Ajay Devgn will next appear in Rohit Shetty’s Singham 2, where he portrays the protagonist. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, and Akshay Kumar in key roles.
