Anjali Arora Movie : Here’s What We Know About the Influencer’s Latest Venture into Mythology

Anjali Arora Movie : Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, with Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita, has started filming. Meanwhile, another retelling of the Hindu epic is in progress. Shri Ramayan Katha, directed by Abhishek Singh and produced by Prakash Mahobiya with co-production by Sanjay Bundela, will star influencer Anjali Arora, known for her participation in Lock Upp, as Sita.

Excited to portray Sita in the movie, Anjali expresses her joy, stating. “I feel blessed to have been offered the part. The character of Goddess Sita is so sacred that no one can refuse it. Curious about why the director chose me, I asked him, and he said he had shortlisted a few actresses, including me.

she further added ”I believe they saw something in me that convinced them I could do justice to the character. I was finalised last month, and since then, I have been watching videos, doing readings, and attending workshops. I will give my best to do justice to the character.”

With two movies revolving around the same Hindu legend, Anjali acknowledges that comparisons with the other actress are bound to happen, and she’s prepared for it. She mentions. “I am aware that comparisons are bound to be made, and who isn’t afraid of comparisons? However, if I am compared to a Bollywood actress, I will be happy.”

Anjali, who has encountered criticism and controversies during her time as an influencer, is asked if her social media activity might affect her portrayal of the deity. In response, she states.

“I can’t change people’s mindsets. As an actor, I commit to every character I am offered with full conviction. Besides, we can’t stop trolls, as they believe they have the right to criticise us. My social media image has nothing to do with my acting and won’t affect my performance; I aim to prove myself instead of seeking validation from others.”
