Sivakarthikeyan‘s ‘Amaran’ opened its account at the box office at Rs 21.4 crore on the first day, which was considered a good opening for the film. According to reports, ‘Amaran’ was made on a budget of Rs 120 crore and it earned more than 17 percent of its earnings on the first day. On the second day, there was a slight decline in the earnings of the film.
‘Amaran’ earned Rs 19.15 crore on the second day. On the third day i.e. Saturday, the film got the benefit of the weekend and it gained momentum. The film earned Rs 21 crore with a jump on the third day

The film picked up pace on the ninth day and earned a jump of Rs 7.4 crore. On Saturday, i.e. the 10th day, ‘Amaran’ earned a jump of Rs 14.5 crore. The film earned Rs 17 crore on the 11th day. However, today’s earnings figures are disappointing. A huge drop has been recorded in the earnings of the film. According to the initial figures, ‘Amaran’ earned Rs 3.05 crore on the 12th day. Now, the total collection of the film has reached Rs 156.8 crore.
