Pushpa 2: The cinema hall echoed with thunderous applause
Allu Arjun attended the screening of Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre, RTC Crossroads, Hyderabad. The superstar’s much-awaited film finally released on Thursday, December 5, three years after the original film. Several viral videos from the premiere showed Allu Arjun and his wife greeting fans and then accompanying them to watch the film.
In one such video, Allu Arjun can be seen sitting with fans inside the theatre, who are cheering after watching a sequence of him and Rashmika Mandanna. Allu Arjun waved at the fans in the theatre and was seen blowing flying kisses on the screen. This video is now going viral on social media, in which the love of fans for Allu is clearly visible.
However, the screening of Pushpa 2 did not go so smoothly. A tragic incident took place during the premiere in which a woman lost her life and her young son is in a critical condition. Revathi, a resident of Dilsukhnagar, had attended the screening with her husband Bhaskar, son and young child. The stampede happened around 10:30 pm when Revathi and her family were exiting the theatre. According to media reports, fans rushed to the theatre to catch a glimpse of Allu Arjun and pushed the exiting people to the ground.
