Ajay Devgn fans defend him after a Twitter user called him ‘expressionless’ in films

Ajay Devgn’s followers are not taking criticism of his performance lying down. Here’s what happened when someone attempted to question the three-time National Award winner.

Ajay Devgn is regarded as one of India’s best actors, having appeared in over 120 Bollywood films. Devgn has established a reputable image and a well-known name in the profession, winning four National Awards for his efforts over the years. But we all know that the crowd never leaves someone ‘untrolled’, and Ajay Devgn is no exception.

In a recent post on X, user @mastanified compared Ajay Devgn‘s lack of expressions on screen to other Bollywood A-list celebs such as the Khans and Akshay Kumar. “Ajay Devgn got to be the worst actor from his generation with no aura thats why he didn’t reach real stardom like the khans or even Akshay Kumar,” according to a Twitter user. While criticism is an unavoidable part of any public entity’s existence, Ajay Devgn supporters were not about to sit back and let the discourse continue.

In reaction to the comparison made between Ajay Devgn and other Bollywood actors, fans reacted positively, writing, “Ajay Devgan is a way bigger star than Akshay Kumar just compare their box office numbers.” “Ajay is a four-time national award winner. He is significantly superior as an actor. Some roles and performing styles may be comparable.” A other person posted, “Ajay Devgan ek brilliant Actor h no doubt aajkal ke baccho ko ye sab nhi pta (Ajay is a brilliant actor but the kids nowadays don’t know this).”

While some individuals agreed with the message, the bulk of responses defended Devgn’s work and natural on-screen presence. “It might be true but guess what most Indian men are like that in real life so they just relate with him lol,” said a member of the crowd.

Ajay Devgn made his acting debut in Phool Aur Kante in 1991. He went on to star in films like Zakhm, Kacche Dhaage, The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Omkara, Golmaal, the Sigham series, and, most recently, Maidaan.

Ajay Devgn will next appear in Rohit Shetty’s Singham 2, where he portrays the protagonist. Also he will be seen in Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, alongside Tabu.
