Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has recently broken his silence on the rumor of his retirement. Some time ago, a rumor was flying that Aamir Khan’s film Mahabharata will be the last film of his life because he is now retiring from the film world, but Aamir Khan clarified this by saying that the epic project is very close to my heart but Mahabharata is not my last film.
Aamir Khan, while talking on this matter on fan club and zoom, said that people have taken my words in the wrong way, when I was hypothetically asked to name a film after which I would feel like quitting acting, I gave the example of Mahabharata. Taking my words in the wrong way, people understood the announcement of retirement. Aamir has said that Mahabharata is such a mythological story that after doing it, the only thought that comes to my mind is that now there is nothing else left.
Aamir Khan means that Mahabharata is the most ambitious film of his life, it is an epic for him. He will start working on the Mahabharata project immediately after the release of Sitare Zameen. Sitare Zameen will be released on 20 June 2025. It is clear from his words that the talk of retirement was just the imagination of media fans because Aamir is currently fully preparing for acting and big projects.
Aamir Khan’s statement clearly shows that he is not retiring from the film world, but he is emotionally attached to his upcoming film Mahabharata, so people think that this is his last film.
