A Complete Unknown : film delves into Dylan’s transformative years in the 1960s
The teaser for the highly anticipated biopic “A Complete Unknown” has been released, showcasing Timothée Chalamet as a young Bob Dylan. Directed by James Mangold, the film delves into Dylan’s transformative years in the 1960s when he controversially shifted from folk to rock music.

Chalamet, known for his roles in “Dune” and “Call Me by Your Name,” captures the essence of Dylan with his iconic curly hair, sunglasses, and vintage attire.

Filming locations included notable New York City spots, such as the Hotel Chelsea’s El Quijote restaurant, where Dylan found much of his musical inspiration. Mangold confirmed that Chalamet will perform his own singing, adding authenticity to the portrayal.
This biopic aims to encapsulate Dylan’s meteoric rise from a 19-year-old with two dollars in his pocket to a global sensation within three years.
