Filmmaker Yael Katzir, herself a former officer, follows five unique cadets in training as they cope with pressures, challenges and fears. They discover their limits and needs for friendships as they tough it out to the finish line. It is hard to believe that these women cadets are only 18 year old young women, fighting for their right to be the best in Israel’s compulsory military service. Filmmaker Katzir shows both the physical and emotional challenges of these young group of women trying to prove their worthiness to become officers and at the same time striving to maintain their inner and outer beauty, their femininity and womanhood.
