12 5 Segment 1 This segment explores follow-up, or incorporating new disciples into the Church. Arguing that the Church is God’s means of bringing new Christians to maturity, we provide key elements in the practice of following up new believers, including welcoming and introducing them into the body, building up in the body to the fullness of Christ, and using spiritual gifts to pursue the Great Commission.
