Plastics: Problems and Solutions

Plastics have become a necessary addition to our modern lives. They are present in our homes, our classrooms, and our modes of transportation; plastics make life easier and more convenient. As beneficial as they can be, the creation and use of plastics also has some negative consequences. Plastics: Problems and Solutions explains the chemistry of plastics and brings to light some of the ways they have become a hindrance as well as a help. Students will learn about the impact plastics have on our environment, and what we’re doing to solve the problems of disposal and recycling.
