7 7 Segment 1 Dr. Davis teaches on the Christian Leader as Bishop (Episkopos). A broad definition and overview to this dynamic concept of bishop or overseer shows that the term bishop has strong overlap with elder and pastor. Beginning by considering the NT language, we trace the context from the council of elders in Jewish rulership, and the development of the concept through the history of the Church.
