Loose Figures and Crowd Scenes

Reel Art Academy and Sean Dye take you through an exiting city scene in New York City’s Time Square. After teaching you how to size and scale your own reference photos, Sean uses charcoal to block in the scene and then uses India ink to refine and correct the first sketch. Next, you’ll follow along as he teaches you how to fill in with gouache and finish off using stages of complimentary color pastels to create visual excitement.
