Kirk asks you to explore your practice and your breath in this 60 minute intermediate vinyasa class. The mandala flow is very creative and he cues you to close your eyes the last time through Sun B to allow yourself to let go and let your breath be your compass as your explore the movements of your body that your breath guides you through. The flow gradually warms your body and allows your mind to be free. Kirk will lead you through some twists including Prayer Twist and a Figure 4 Twist. You will intelligently and safely be lead into the peak posture of Eka Pada Galavasana (Flying Squirrel). This is a challenging posture but Kirk does a great job of breaking it down into steps to make this an accessible posture. Your surrender series is beautifully done and you’ll finish with a sweet savasana that will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
