History Rediscovered: Battle of China

The sixth film in Frank Capra’s “Why We Fight” series focuses on Japan’s brutal invasion of China, and looks at the history of Japanese militarism. The film highlights the determination of the Chinese, who lose battle after battle and suffer unspeakable atrocities, yet stay in the fight. The film correctly predicts that with Allied help the Chinese will sap Japan’s resources and erode its resolve.
