Building Haiti

Since the devastating 2010 earthquake left Haiti in dire straits and corruption wasted away the lion’s share of international aid, award-winning filmmakers from All Rise Films (FAVELA RISING, THE TWO ESCOBARS) followed Olivier Barrau, an inspired social entrepreneur, as he endeavors to rebuild Haiti from the inside out. This short documentary draws attention to the importance of Haitian entrepreneurial success and reveals a lesser-known path to redevelopment that is stronger than any quantity of external prescription or international charity.
