The Kingdom of the Occult

This horrifying look at the world of voodoo, Santeria and Palo Mayombe is not for the weak-hearted. Dr. Walter Martin takes you to Miami, the area with the largest concentration of these occultic practices in the U.S. for interviews with experts. We talked with Dr. Charles Wetli, the Dade County Coroner, who has investigated many deaths and crimes perpetrated by members of these various occultic groups. He has collected a grisly collection of human skulls and other artifacts in the process and we show you part of his collection on this show. We also talked with two Catholic Priests who work with practitioners of Voodoo and Santeria, and a police detective who has been called on to investigate reports of animal sacrifice. Dr. Mercedes Sandoval explains Santeria and Voodoo from an anthropologist’s point of view and shares some her personal experiences. You’ll also witness part of a frightening Voodoo ceremony recorded surreptitiously on a sand bar near Port Au Prince, Haiti. Then we take you to Los Angeles for an interview with an Assistant District attorney who is alarmed at the increase in Satanic youth gangs and other Occultic groups in this country. This program is enlightening, albeit shocking at times, and necessary for the understanding of the vast underground of the Occult.
