The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus & The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus

Two of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World are featured in this Program. Located in modern Turkey, the Mausoleum of Mauolus was so influential that all such structures are named for it. The Temple of Artemis was the largest Classical marble temple at Ephesus in Asia Minor, a huge yet beautifully proportioned center of worship for the pagan people of its time.
