Dance Plus: Jeannette Ginslov

The premiere episode of Dance Plus looks forward and back into the career of South African choreographer, video dance maker and multimedia artist Jeannette Ginslov. Under South Africa’s oppressive Apartheid regime, Ginslov’s work was banned, forcing her to develop later works underground. Ginslov explores the moving body, combining dance, music, text, video and interactivity in a stimulating exploration of the identity and place of women in culture.
