One hundred years ago, the average man’s vision of the world measured eight to ten miles, the distance between his eyes and the visible horizon that he could cover in one day with the transportation available to him – foot, horse and carriage. Today, our vision of the world is much broader. We can see the entire globe thanks to an extraordinary machine: the airplane.
