Victoria is just another girl looking for simple love and happiness. Instead, she keeps running away, first from an abusive home, then from her boyfriend and finally from the schizophrenia of New York City. As a little girl, she dreamed of becoming a dancer, so she follows her dreams to New York. But destiny has something else for her. She ends up in a mix of cruel relationships combined with drugs, abuse and humiliation by the crumbling New York society. While her personal life is going downhill, the pressure of her surrounding is becoming oppressing and damaging. When sober, she suffers major bouts of depression as the reality is more and more unbearable. She chooses writing as part of her therapy and escapes the real world as Alice in Wonderland. Her imaginary life begins at her computer, but slowly becomes an obsession which loses all distinction from reality. In the fantasy world, her Alter Ego Jana, represents the life she once envisioned to have. Her real-life abusive boyfriend Taylor becomes the perfect guy Travis, and everything conforms to her fantastic ideal. But as the burden of her life increases, her sensibility and confusion of this world progresses. She starts mentally deteriorating and becoming emotionally numb. Moreover, she even loses interest in her own writing. Her writing turns morbid and becomes a self-fulfilling prophesy of her actual life. Then she makes a conscious decision to escape it all. But did she really commit a suicide or does she find a solid ground to start all over at last?
