Chiranjeevi, the superstar, receives the Padma Vibhushan second highest civilian honour by the Government of India

Padma Awards – one of the highest civilian Awards of the country, are conferred in
three categories, namely, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri. The Awards are
given in various disciplines/fields of activities, viz.- art, social work, public affairs, science and
engineering, trade and industry, medicine, literature and education, sports, civil service, etc.

Chiranjeevi Superstar today(09-05-2024) was honored with the second highest civilian honor, Padma Vibhushan, by the Government of India. The award ceremony took place at Rashtrapati Bhavan in the national capital of India. President Draupadi Murmu presented the prestigious award. Chiranjeevi received the award in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and others.

In response to the prestigious recognition, Chiranjeevi conveyed his heartfelt appreciation, stating, “Upon receiving this incredible news, I was rendered speechless. The overwhelming feeling of gratitude consumes me. I am deeply humbled and thankful for this esteemed honor. It is the unwavering and priceless love of the people, viewers, fans, my brothers, and sisters that has propelled me to this juncture. I attribute my existence and this significant moment to you all. I perpetually endeavor to convey my appreciation in every possible manner, although I acknowledge that it can never suffice.”

Moreover,he is the father of actor Ram Charan Teja and the uncle of actors Allu Arjun, Allu Sirish, Varun Tej, Niharika and Sai Dharam.
