This house, originally bought by her late mother, Sridevi, upon marrying film producer Boney Kapoor, holds sentimental value for Janhvi. Reports from People magazine suggest that the property is now listed among Airbnb’s collection of residences owned by 11 iconic figures, giving the public a chance to experience a stay there.
The opportunity to rent Janhvi‘s home is exclusive, available only to select Airbnb users. Those fortunate enough to secure a reservation will also get the unique chance to interact with Janhvi herself. The experience includes discussions on beauty tips and the opportunity to savor authentic South Indian cuisine.
In 2022, Janhvi provided a glimpse into her childhood home during a tour with Vogue India. This house holds precious memories of her late mother, Sridevi, and is significant as it was the first property purchased by the legendary ‘Chalbaaz’ actor. Previously, Janhvi, her sister Khushi, and their father Boney were protective of the house, limiting visitors. However, Boney recently had the house renovated and allowed Khushi to host gatherings with her friends there.
Reflecting on finding solace at her Chennai residence, the actor shared with the magazine, “In Mumbai, I’m never really at peace because it’s where work happens. I only come home to sleep. Even if I get a day off, it’s never really relaxing because there are always phone calls to return. In Chennai, on the other hand, my cousins come home to meet me.
He further said ”There isn’t much work I can do because there’s no one’s office that I need to go to for a meeting. There’s essentially nothing to do except spend time by myself and with my family. I feel like I can hit the pause button and pull myself together. Dad’s also always in a great mood here, so it’s nice to just laze around.”
