The makers announced that the film Stree 2 will scheduled for theatrical release on 30 August 2024.
Actor Rajkummar Rao and Sraddha Kapoor have started filming Amar Kaushik’s Stree 2 in Madhya Pradesh’s Chanderi from today. Stree 2 is the second installment of the critically appreciated Stree (2018), and is a part of Dinesh Vijan’s horror comedy universe. The makers, in a note, announced the commencement of the Stree 2 shoot on Tuesday along with a announcement video.
The filming for Stree 2 has begun and this time the message for Stree is not be ‘O stree kal aana (Stree, come tomorrow)’ but ‘O stree raksha karna (Stree, please protect us)’. The film announcement came on Monday and showed a quiet lane of Chanderi with a ‘missing’ poster on a wall. The video shows the replacement of the words ‘kal aana (come tomorrow)’ on the walls, which was shown in the 2018 film Stree, to ‘raksha karna (protect us).

Stree 2 is Hindi language comedy horror film film directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under the banner of Maddock Films and Jio Studios. A sequel to Stree (2018), It stars Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana.
