A computer programmer named Nathan Brown dies unexpectedly. After his death, his consciousness is uploaded to a very expensive digital afterlife known as Lakeview. He is there, dominated by a possessive and still-living girlfriend named Ingrid. Nathan tries to adjust to his new surroundings and lifestyle. He develops a bond with his living customer service representative, Nora. Nathan starts to wonder if his death was natural or planned. He decided to know the real reason behind his death.
Season 1 of Upload focuses more on Nathan’s afterlife. It shows the triangle love story that developed between Nathan, Ingrid, and Nora. Season 2 of the upload focuses more on the politics going around in the digital afterlife world. It shows the emergence of the new digital application and the struggles Nathan faces in the digital afterlife world.
The upcoming season of The Upload will show that Nathan and Nora are in a relationship. Ingrid is still trying to get a second chance with Nathan. The new season will also show the struggles Nathan faces to save his life in the digital world.
Actors Robbie Amell, Andy Allo, Allegra Edwards, Zainab Johnson, Kevin Bigley, and Josh Banday are playing key roles in the series, with various other actors in supporting roles.
