Mahendra Singh Dhoni, one of the most calm and sensible captains of Indian cricket, has officially got the legal right to be called Captain Cool. MS Dhoni had applied to trademark this name which has been taken in the Indian Trademark Registry.
MS Dhoni’s name is associated with calm and balanced captaincy and for many years his name is called captain cool. Now only Dhoni will have the right over it. No one can use it in business or branding.
Dhoni’s trademark was adopted on 16 June 2025. If there is no objection from any third party within 120 days, then Dhoni will officially get it completely.
