Bollywood actress Nimrat Kaur has recently expressed her happiness on social media. This happiness is not about her film but she has expressed excitement about the 17 women cadets who passed out from National Defence Academy (NDA). She called it the face of new India and said that this historic moment reflects the changing vision and growing confidence of women in the country.
Nimrat Kaur has made her own identity with strong characters in films like “The Lunchbox” and “Abhimanyu”. Nimrat’s father was also in Indian service. He praised the achievement on social media and wrote:
This is not a milestone but an inspiration that makes all girls dream of serving in the armed forces. This was the third batch of cadets in NDA in which a total of 51 women were selected in this institute. This achievement shows an important step towards gender equality in service. It gives the message that India is now moving fast on the path of change.
