Famous Indian musician Amit Trivedi has recently reacted to a decision to stop the shooting of Pakistani actor Fawad Khan’s film Abir Gulaal. He has clearly said that this decision was taken only keeping in mind India’s priority.
Amit further said that the film industry is a sensitive area, there is emotion and patriotism here, it is very important to keep both in mind. Regarding the film Abir Gulaal, the decision taken is not against any particular person but it has been taken with the thought of India First, which is a very big step. The film Abir Gulaal was a musical drama film in which Fawad Khan was playing the lead role. Amit Trivedi was also associated with the film as a musician. When there was a dispute between India and Pakistan, the film was also being criticized a lot on social media because it had a Pakistani actor in the role. In view of the tension between India and Pakistan, this project was stopped.
Amit Trivedi said that we prefer to choose such films which are in the interest of the country and which do not harm the art, music, border or national sentiment. We should stand with our country. His decision has given a big signal to the industry that not only the participants but also the sensitivity towards the country matters
