Caught in a Trap

Connie Fisher stars in this drama inspired by a true crime. A miserable, bullied council worker, whose only solace is Elvis Presley, starts to embezzle funds from the parking meters it is her job to empty. Realising how easily she is able to ‘borrow’ the money and not get caught, she begins to find uses for the extra cash. But as her spending increases from small items for her family to Elvis memorabilia that makes her feel good about herself, an internal audit is scheduled for her department and she realises that her days are numbered.
