The Vulture’s Eye

Frank Sciurba wrote and directed this tense thriller about a young woman and her friends who turn to a curmudgeonly doctor when they’re terrorized by a foreign count in rural Virginia horse country. The count becomes deeply enamored of Lucy after rescuing her from a horse-riding accident. Her behavior grows more and more strange as the count’s influence on her grows. While a doctor is brought in to figure out what has happened to Lucy, the count attempts to take over everyone in Lucy’s social circle.
