A young woman suffering from the often misunderstood and undiagnosed Charcot Marie Tooth disease is profiled., Director Josh Taub’s documentary Bernadette focuses on how one woman afflicted with a degenerative nerve condition wrestles with her diminishing capacities, and fights to raise awareness of her disorder, which is in fact the most widespread hereditary neuropathy throughout the human race.
