In this experimental documentary, a real-life first encounter between screen legends Bette Davis and Mae West at a party on November 13, 1973 is re-enacted by actors Victoria Mills and Karen Teliha lip-synching to an archival audio recording of the original conversation, made by the bartender (director Wes Wheadon) who witnessed it all., In the fall of 1973, a cocktail party was given by Charles Pollock, a West Hollywood designer, for his house guest Bette Davis and her guest Mae West. Bette and Mae had never met, but each held the other in high regard. Miss West was accompanied by her two escorts, Stan Musgrove and Glenn Shahan, who were eager to meet Miss Davis.
