A shady investor invests in making money through various schemes and gets involved with a wealthy conman. When the conman is found dead, his investor partner believes he has once again gotten away with his crimes., Part Two of the made-for-TV Billionaire Boys Club was originally telecast November 9, 1987 (see entry 124000 for details on Part One). Yuppie commodities trader Joe Hunt (Judd Nelson) has already murdered Beverly Hills scam artist Ron Levin (Ron Silver) and carefully disposed of the body. The next step of the scheme is take over where Levin left off by conning an Iranian millionaire out of a huge sum of money. Meanwhile, other members of the Billionaire Boys Club (Hunt’s investment corporation) begin to have qualms over Hunt’s finagling. Their whistle-blowing leads to Hunt’s arrest and convinction for murder. The Billionaire Boys Club was based on a book by Sue Horton, which hit the stands shortly after the initial telecast of its two-part TV movie adaptation.
