The planned crime thriller film, sector 36, is inspired on the genuine horrible event of the Nithari Killings.

Sector 36, starring Vikrant Massey, is a crime thriller that premiered on August 18, 2024, at the 15th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne and will now be released on Netflix on September 13, 2024.

The streaming platform posted a poster on Instagram with the statement, “Unexplained disappearances, a deadly chase, and the dark truth.” The great Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal star in this terrifying criminal thriller based on true events. Sector 36 will be available exclusively on Netflix beginning September 13th.
The film is about the Noida serial killings (Nithari case). The film’s goal is to highlight the realities of crime rates in India. It also follows the lives of a serial killer, Mohinder Singh Pandher.

The film stars Vikrant Massey, Deepak Dobriyal, Akash Khurana, Darshan Jariwala, Baharul Islam, and Ipshita Chakraborty Singh. Bodhayan Roychaudhury wrote the script, while Aditya Nimbalkar directed the film.
Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande produced the film for Jio Studios and Maddock Films. The cinematography was done by Saurabh Goswami, while A Sreekar Prasad edited the film.
