“Kalki 2898 AD” achieved its highest box office earnings in India through its Telugu release, significantly bolstering its overall performance. Out of the total nett collection of Rs 95 crore, Rs 64.5 crore was garnered from in Telugu Language. The Hindi Language followed with Rs 24 crore, while the Tamil Language contributed Rs 4 crore. Additionally, the film collected Rs 2.2 crore from the Malayalam Language and Rs 30 lakh from the Kannada version. Notably, “Kalki 2898 AD” boasted an impressive overall occupancy rate of 85.15% in Telugu-speaking regions.
“Kalki 2898 AD” has emerged as the third highest Indian opener, surpassing the opening day collection of Yash-starrer “KGF Chapter 2,” which grossed Rs 159 crore. The top two spots are occupied by SS Rajamouli’s films: “RRR,” which went on to win an Oscar, earned Rs 223 crore on its opening day, and “Baahubali 2,” also starring Prabhas, earned Rs 217 crore on its debut day.
